Materials research typically doesn't focus on the origins of life, but Claudia Felser links significant mysteries of the universe to the concepts of chirality and topological quantum materials. Claudia is the recipient of the 2024 Von Hippel Award and serves as a director at the Max Planck Institute for Chemical Physics of Solids.
