Countdown to Boston...

Hello everyone!

I am Reeja Jayan, graduate student in the Materials Science and Engineering program at the University of Texas at Austin. My research focuses on developing materials for clean energy applications, particularly solar cells and lithium ion batteries. Less than 2 weeks to go before  I fly to Boston to attend my very first MRS conference. Needless to say I am super excited about attending all those symposia, particularly the ones about energy harnessing and storage. Having spent all my life in warm climates and having been in Texas for almost 4 years, my only concern at this point is the north east winter.... In any event, I shall make full use of my black friday shopping spree to get prepared. See you all at the meeting!
