MRS Spring Meeting is almost here!

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to introduce myself and get the blog off to a great start as we get ready for the Spring Meeting in just a little over a week!

My name is Brittany Nelson-Cheeseman, and I am a fourth year graduate student in Materials Science and Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley. (I've included a picture of myself, so if you happen to see me around the meeting, feel free to stop me and say hi. I'd love to hear your thoughts on what we're posting.)

This is going to be my second year blogging for the Spring MRS Meeting. I'm super excited about it as it allowed me to really take in the wide variety of events and presentations that took place last year. It also got me to really think about both the science that was being presented and the way that MRS in general and the meeting specifically is organized. I encourage anyone and everyone to add their own thoughts and comments (and even pictures!) to the blog throughout the week, as having a dynamic with lots of members at the meeting really adds a lot.

I look forward to seeing and meeting many of you at the meeting!
