Giving a talk...

...was anticlimatic at best. The acoustics in the rooms at the Moscone are nice and warm and the ceilings high, which makes them very comfortable places to speak; my session was full but not packed which also aided the comfort level. I got three questions after my twelve-minute talk on La-doped SrTiO3 thermoelectrics. As I remarked to someone at the grad student social at the end of the day in line for a glass of wine (photo), better than zero or ten I suppose. Img_702201
